GO TO THE ROCK

A while back, the Lord gave me a prophetic dream. I was standing on the shore line of the ocean. My son Gabriel was with me. Houses and buildings were just a few feet away from where we stood. I looked up and out of nowhere came a gigantic tidal wave. It towered over me and I knew that this was a devastating wave that would bring complete destruction to the city. I looked for a place to run to, even though I knew there would be no escaping. I did, however, discover a large rock or boulder just a few steps away from where I was standing.

I knew in an instant that the rock was our only hope. I immediately ran to the rock with my son and hid behind it, expecting the enormous tidal wave to crash down at any moment. Instead of crashing down, the wave suddenly stopped and stayed in its place. I could see that the wind was blowing just drops of water along the shoreline, much like rain drops, but the rock kept even the drops of water from hitting us. It was then that I woke up. As I have thought and prayed about the dream, the Lord has spoken a powerful reminder and confirmation to what is already understood. We live in perilous and evil times. Devastation is imminent due to the continue ungodly actions of this generation. But the Lord says for those who run to The Rock Christ Jesus, although the danger still lurks and will eventually collapse on our nation and the world, those who are anchored in Christ will receive His protection from the devastation until the time the church is raptured out of the world.

I was reminded of Acts 4:11-12

"Jesus is 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Many are rejecting Christ today. Others are ashamed to take a stand for Christ. For these people, devastation awaits. Mark 8:38 says,

"If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

Church, the Lord says today, "Go to the Rock! And take as many people as you can with you. Salvation is in your midst."
