PAYBACK AND CONTEND

Updated: Feb 26, 2018

In prayer this morning I heard the word PAYBACK in my spirit. The Holy Spirit impressed on me that we are in a time where the enemy must begin to pay back what he has stolen from God’s people.

“The enemy comes but to kill, steal, and destroy.” John 10:10.

I then heard the word CONTEND. The Holy Spirit says to God’s people, “Contend for this payback. Contend for the promises, the dreams and visions God has given you. Contend through prayer, praying in the Spirit, declaring the word, and worship.

The word contend means to engage in a competition or campaign in order to win or achieve something. This payback will come as you contend in spiritual battle against the enemy. The Lord goes before you. Declare a thing. (Job 22:28) Walk close to Jesus. Stay close to Him and live in the presence of the Father. He will bring the victory and restore back to you what the enemy has stolen. For Jesus “has come to give life, and Life to its fullest.” John 10:10
