Not long ago my wife and I traveled out of town. There was one point in our journey where I questioned which way we should go. What did I do? I asked for directions. Have you ever had the same question in life's journey? Which way should I go?
Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you."
Anytime you face the "Which Way" question, there is someone you can ask for direction. God promises that He will instruct us and teach us which way to go. The word "instruct" speaks of God telling us which way to go. The word "teach" says he will travel with us to teach us along the way. He also promises that He will counsel. As a Pastor/ Minister I have counseled many people. When I would counsel someone I would sit down with them, listen to their situation, allow them to ask the questions they might have, then I would give them direction and answer their questions the best I could. That’s what God wants to do with us. He wants to sit down and talk with us. He wants to give us an opportunity to share our situation and ask questions. Of course, He loves to answer those questions in His time, and follow up with us on a daily basis. What an amazing God we serve. Whatever direction you are needing in your life right now, stop and ask God for directions. He will let you know which way to go.
